Week 2

Week 2: Friday - 2 Samuel 18:1-18

I hate being under pressure.. Whenever I am stressed iI have a hard time. David told his men that he would go and fight Israel with them. Although when they heard this, they told him it would be best if he stayed in the city. After the battle, David's men saw that guy hanging in an oak tree they left him and went and told David. Later on Absalom was stabbed in the heart with a stick and died.

Week 2: Thursday - 2 Samuel 15: 1-37

My family/church keeps my motives clear. My family is raising me in a good Christian environment so when I grow up I can stay a strong Christian that serves God. The people came to Absalom to send a complaint to the king to receive an answer from him. Absalom told the king that he wanted to make a sacrifice to the Lord. The king allowed it and he along with 200 people went to go and make a sacrifice. He told them when they heard a trumpet that he would then be king over Hebron. Only when the true king got a message about this he sent people after them. David said that they had to get out of their so they fled along with the Ark of the Covenant.

Week 2: Tuesday - 2 Samuel 12:13-25

David told Nathan that he had sinned against the Lord. Nathan told him that the Lord has taken away his sins and he will not die but the son born to him would. While his son was ill David wept and layed on the ground not eating anything. Although when his son dies, he got up and went to eat and worship the Lord.

Week 2: Monday - 2 Samuel 12:1-12

Nathan went to David and told him about the rich man who had a large number of sheep and cattle and the poor man who had the one ewe. A traveler came up to the rich man, didn't kill him but one of his sheep for the man to eat he took the ewe from the poor man and killed it to feed the traveler. Nathan burned in anger and told David that he was going to lose everything because he did so many bad things in the eyes of the Lord. I am not sure if any friend of mine except family loves me enough to correct me.
